New Year, New Me
It's a new year and a new opportunity to make some improvements! I joined a gym a month ago and recently started working with a personal trainer. I have some health challenges so I want to be as healthy as I can be and so that means losing the last 15 pounds that I have been trying to get off and getting stronger. Another improvement I will be working on is posting to this blog more frequently. I would like to say regularly but sometimes life just gets in the way. I have an aging parent that is starting to need more help from my husband and I. I would also like to improve or increase the number of sewing/quilting projects this year and complete this nagging stack of UFO's that keep staring me in the face asking me to finish them. Here's the list of UFO's that need to be completed:
1. XOXO quilted wall hanging
2. Succulent pillow
3. Dad's table runner
4. Chandelier quilt
5. Christmas quilt
6. Starry Night diamond painting
I'm sure there's a couple more projects I will find as I continue to organize and clean my craft den.
I would also like to start a 3 yard quilt that I have already bought the fabric for and make a Valentine's table runner. I like to watercolor paint so I would also like to work on making my Christmas cards for this next year and some cards for other occasions.
